October 24, 2009 - How did you Make A Difference?
Make A Difference Day 2009 was October 24th! WOW, this has definitely been the greatest example of neighbors helping neighbors in our area. Over 12,000 Flagler and Volusia county residents stepped out in the name of service to our community.
Known as the "national day of doing good" Make A Difference Day is a national effort designed to mobilize citizens in communities across the country in volunteer service-Neighbors helping Neighbors. Created and sponsored nationally by USA Weekend, this was the 19th Annual Make A Difference Day.
