| It's that time of the year again and our local non-profits still need your help!!
We still have a handful of Make A Difference Day projects to be adopted for October 24th!
If you are new to Make A Difference Day, known as the "national day of doing good," Make A Difference Day is a national effort designed to mobilize citizens in communities across the country in volunteer service-Neighbors helping Neighbors. Created and sponsored nationally by USA Weekend, this is the 19th Annual Make A Difference Day. Thousands of people, young and old, are committed to spending Saturday, October 24th making a difference through service projects in Volusia and Flagler Counties.
Project still seeking volunteers include:
Flagler: Fun Coast Down Syndrome Association Buddy Walk
East Volusia: Botanical Gardens of Volusia Building a New Garden Neighbor to Family Family Visitation
West Volusia: Enterprise Preservation Society 9th Annual Old Enterprise Festival Serenity House Green Trail Volusia County Environmental Management 4th Annual DeLeon Springs Clean-up

| Do you find yourseslf unable to adopt a project? No problem, you can still help to support Make a Difference Day and the United Way through a donation.
Giving is easy online or through your company's workplace campaign.
Also, remember that there are several projects that are food or supply drives. Think of ways that you could help by simply holding one of these collection drives at your office, church or even in your neighborhood. The possibilities are endless!
