The 2008 Outstanding Volunteers of the Year luncheon will be held In conjunction with National Volunteer Week and Florida Volunteer Month, on Thursday April 23, 2009, at the newly remodeled Ocean Center in Daytona Beach. This year's theme is LIVE UNITED, as we continue to reach out our hand to one and influence the condition of all.

Albert Einstein once said that "The value of a man should be seen in what he gives and not in what he is able to receive." How true these words ring to those of us in the non-profit world; who know full well the value of volunteers.  It is by your continued generosity and commitment that we are able to accomplish some of the wonderful things we do.  On behalf of everyone connected with the Outstanding Volunteer of the Year Awards, please accept our sincere gratitude for your continued dedication and volunteer efforts.

For more information about the 2008 Outstanding Volunteers of the Year Luncheon or to reserve your seat, please call Laura Zublionis, Volunteer Center Director, at 386-366-9080.
