Greetings from this year's Chairman of the Board
I would first like to thank all of the supporters of the United Way of Volusia-Flagler Counties. I am excited to have the honor of being this years Chairman for your Board of Directors. I know that we have a tough year ahead of us and this year's campaign is more important than ever. It is only through the annual giving campaign that we are allowed to fund the 43 Partner Agencies and 83 programs as well as the internal programs of the United Way. Without you, your company and our community coming together to raise the funds needed, we could not do what we do.
I would like to express my gratitude to our Partner Agencies and the amazing work that they are continuing to do, even during these hard economic times. Each year, we help them to touch the lives of more than one out of every three individuals in our community. That translates to hundreds of thousands of individuals who have the opportunity for a better life.
I hope that this year, you will help us to change our community and to LIVE UNITED. Please take the time to Give, Advocate and Volunteer. Because when we reach out a hand to one, we influence the condition of all.
