The Corvallis Clinic recognized for safety achievement CORVALLIS - Oregon OSHA has recognized The Corvallis Clinic for its commitment and diligence to safety. The Clinic joins seven other health care facilities in the state to receive Safety and Health Achievement Recognition Program (SHARP) certification for the third straight year. Acceptance into SHARP is a public acknowledgement by Oregon OSHA that safety is a company value at The Corvallis Clinic. Chris Hernandez and Nancy Graf with OSHA presented the award at The Clinic's annual health and safety fair May 9. "You are not just learning about safety, but living it as part of your jobs," Graf told Clinic employees. The Clinic's Safety Officer Diana Hendrickson said that since The Clinic first received the SHARP designation in 2010, its overall safety inspection score has improved each year. "This award is a source of pride and accomplishment," Hendrickson said. "A special congratulations to The Corvallis Clinic safety team for their continued dedication and to each of our employees who understands that safety is a marathon, not a sprint." |
