CORVALLIS - Patrick Wylie is the new Director of Information Technology at The Corvallis Clinic. Mr. Wylie started March 26, and succeeds The Clinic's Chief Operating Officer Rod Aust in the role of IT Director.

Mr. Wylie previously worked at St. Joseph Health System in Santa Rosa, Calif., where he was Area Director for IT Services since 2003. In Santa Rosa, he was in charge of IT services at two hospitals, a physician group, urgent care centers, outpatient labs and home care services in Sonoma County. Mr. Wylie brings skills and expertise in the areas of IT project planning and management, electronic health record advancement, process improvement and exchanging health information between community providers.

"His collaborative and approachable style are a great addition to The Corvallis Clinic," said Clinic CEO Andrew Perry. "Patrick has a very strong healthcare background allowing him to critically assess our IT capabilities and bring solutions to advance our organization in the future."

Mr. Wylie received a bachelor of science degree in computer science from Sonoma State University in Calif. Born in Portland, Oregon, he lived in Corvallis as an infant when his father was a student at Oregon State University. Mr. Wylie's wife and son will soon be moving to Corvallis. "In addition to being impressed with the employees at The Corvallis Clinic, my wife and I were attracted to Corvallis because of its tangible sense of community, outdoor recreational opportunities, and its positive environment for raising a child."
