CORVALLIS - Emily Rangel, M.D., is the newest women's health specialist at The Corvallis Clinic Obstetrics & Gynecology Department. She joins colleagues Amy Card, M.D., Michelle Curtis, M.D., Amey Lee, M.D., Carol Morcos, M.D., and Zoryana Thompson, PA-C, on Sept. 1, 2011.

 

Dr. Rangel completed her residency in June 2011 at the University of Kansas School of Medicine in Kansas, City, KS, where she was elected Chief Resident in 2010-11 and was named outstanding teaching resident of the year in 2008-09. Dr. Rangel brings extensive training and experience in minimally invasive surgery, including robotic-assisted surgery. She received her medical degree from the University of Kansas in 2007. 

 

Dr. Rangel is an active candidate for the American Board of Gynecology & Obstetrics and can take the board exam after 1-2 years in practice. She is a member of the American College of Obstetricians & Gynecologists.
