There is a station group in the east bay that is local, Coast Radio.  With KKIQ 101.7 FM leading the Pleasanton - Tri Valley area, KKIQ celebrates over 40yrs on the dial.  Diablo Valley KKDV 92.1 FM is the new comer to the north east corridor of the east bay. Delivering a combination of 70's, 80's, & 90's music, the format for each station has made them a hit in local offices and in business everywhere throughout the east bay.  Just ask any of the daily Coffee Break or Lunch Break winners what radio they have playing in their locations. You have heard of myspace, Hi 5, or maybe even took note of the 60 minute special on Facebook.  I am here to let you know that social networking sites can be an incredible tool to generate new business.  Be careful though in your pursuit to utilize these sites.  They come with a whole host of problems if you do not know how to manage them correctly.  For any reader of the "Fike Sway" newsletter, I would be happy to share with you the secret sauce that is needed to navigate this new realm.
