Dear Deliver the Dream Friends,
Whew... what a year it's been!
I am so enthusiastic that 2011 will be coming to an end with the knowledge that our supporters, donors, and volunteers have made this a very, very productive year at Deliver the Dream!
Since 2002, Deliver the Dream has been thrilled to have had over 5,500 family members attend a healing family retreat where they were able to begin the process of reconnecting again after facing a crisis or serious illness. Mothers, fathers, brothers and sisters...families who were facing many hurdles, were given the opportunity to rebuild a trust and faith in one another, to rekindle a confidence that together they could face and overcome anything!
As we prepare to finish 2011, I reflect back with a sense of pride on the organization's many accomplishments. Yes, Deliver the Dream has had some very defining achievements... successes that have occurred as the result of a passionate staff, and most importantly, because of generous donors like you who have allowed us to continue our efforts.
One of our proudest moments occurred in July when we celebrated our 100th Family Retreat. This milestone event in our history was held for families who have a child with Autism and for those in attendance, the weekend was incredibly moving and so representative of our mission.
Looking ahead to 2012 I ask you to continue thinking about Deliver the Dream's families and the impact you can make. Please continue your support by making a generous tax deductible gift to our program. Ask your co-workers, friends and family to get involved by volunteering at one of our many retreats. I promise you, it will make an impact on everyone who participates.
Finally, I am privileged to have the opportunity to wear the Executive Director badge for five years now. It seems like it's only been a blip in time - and that is why I know that each day I am truly fortunate to play a role in making a difference for the families we serve.

Come celebrate the end of the year with us at AiZia restaurant in the Westin Diplomat in Hollywood. $25 for appetizers & a drink. Parking is complimentary. |

Cathy Seguine is a super volunteer! She has been volunteering with Deliver the Dream for more than 4 years. She loves canoeing with the families and taking care of all the kids. Cathy volunteers for our Denim & Diamonds gala each year and also helped us out at the Footsteps for Families walk. She is the type of volunteer that makes us shine! Thanks Cathy for all that you do for our mission.

Eyeing hydrants, digging holes, Drinking from the toilet bowls . . . Playing games of "tug-o'-war," Putting scratch marks on the door . . .
Rolling over, playing dead,
Getting dog hair on your bed . . .
Scaring folks who bring the mail,
Chasing cars, as well as tail . . .
Barking, begging, heeling, howling,
And also, on occasion, growling . . .
Romping through the office fast, Sneezing, snoozing, passing gas . . .
Sniffing everything I see,
Making sure we're burglar free . . .
Woofing, wagging, chomping, chewing . . .
These are things I sure love doing!
I love my job at Deliver the Dream...
And am thankful to be a canine member of the team!
