| Future of Life Goes Global |

In an expansion of our national program, we have extended our gift of trees to the 90 USA Girl Scouts overseas committees in honor of the GSUSA's 95th anniversary. Committees in Tokyo and Dhahran, Saudi Arabia, have already signed up to plant trees. Girl Scouts councils will also be planting trees in honor of their 95th anniversary this fall in Arizona, South Carolina, and Louisiana, among
others, bringing the total participation to 144 councils in 47 states. 95th Anniversary of the Girl Scouts

We are delighted to report that our Chairman and founder, Bernard David, will be featured on Robert Redford's new series "the GREEN" on the Sundance Channel. | National Fish and Wildlife Foundation Grant to FOL Supports Tree Planting in PA, MD |

We were honored to receive a generous award from the National Fish and Wildlife Foundation to plant trees with Girl Scouts in Pennsylvania and Maryland. The Chesapeake Bay Foundation and the Stroud Water Research Center will partner with FOL and the Girl Scouts of the USA to plant along riparian corridors. |

FOL Board Chair Bernard David and President Janet Milkman are excited to participate in the National Forum on Children and Nature, which will bring national leaders together to research and fund demonstration projects from around the country.
