'PLAYCARE' AVAILABLE DURING RACE:
The Chicopee host site is offering a 'playcare' babysitting service during race time. Rates are $10/hour + GST for ages 0-3 years, and $5/hour for ages 3+. Currently, there are not any reservations; the service will be canceled if interest is not shown! Please let Heather know immediately if you would like to reserve a spot!
ESAR TEAM NOTE:
If you will be wearing bike shoes, please plan to have a backpack large enough or a way to carry your shoes.
NEW for ESAR and ESAR-Lite 2010:
Each team will be issued a SPORTident* timing chip which they will use to "punch in" at each of the course checkpoints that they reach. The SPORTident control box at each checkpoint will digitally record your arrival time onto your chip, and the data will later be downloaded and entered into the overall results at the Finish Line.
MANDATORY GEAR CHANGE:
All teams must have a cell phone for the race as a piece of mandatory gear. Remember to bring a safe way to carry them - you never know when you might get a bit wet!
TRANSITION BAGS: Please be prepared to take your bags to the appropriate truck in the morning.
