Public Comment on Proposed Changes to Oregon's Business Energy Tax Credit

The Oregon Department of Energy is preparing to implement changes made to the Business Energy Tax Credit program by House Bill 3680 from the 2010 Special Legislative Session. The bill goes into effect on May 27, 2010.
 
The Department is seeking input on the future rules including:
  • What the process and criteria should be for the renewable tiered priority systems
  • How renewable storage device should be defined
  • Phasing in of renewable energy manufacturing  projects
Stakeholders are encouraged to attend and contribute suggestions through testimony for the department's consideration.  The Department intends to review the input as it prepares rules to be filed on or before the effective date of the bill.
 
If you would like to contribute but are unable to attend, written comments may be submitted to the meeting coordinator via email prior to the meeting.
