Thank You to Our Volunteers at the "Better Living Show"!
Solar Oregon had the opportunity to sponsor the Clean Energy Pavilion at this year's Better Living Show, which took place at the Portland Expo Center (March 26 - 28). One of the volunteer responsibilities included assisting folks entering the Pavilion area. Volunteers wearing bright yellow Solar Oregon aprons (see picture) answered basic questions and directed them to renewable energy resources. It was a success thanks to our 50+ committed volunteers!

"Solarize" Communities
Solarize projects are community efforts designed to make solar electricity and associated weatherization programs more affordable to homeowners. Cities and neighborhoods in Oregon with the support from community leaders and local municipalities are organizing these bulk-purchasing programs.
Based on our mission of education and outreach about solar, Solar Oregon is assisting these efforts through solar workshops and data management.
