Drug Fact
A child who reaches age 21 without smoking, abusing alcohol or using drugs is virtually certain to never do so (www.casacolumbia.org).
October 23-31st is Red Ribbon Week, a national campaign celebrated annually in schools, businesses and communities through the color Red toward the promotion of a Drug-free America. It's also a perfect time to engage young children in education, learning and constructive conversations about alcohol, tobacco and other drugs. Parents, friends, the environment, and the media have enormous influence in shaping our attitudes and opinions about drugs. Be the voice that counts to the children in your life and let them see you wear Red during Red Ribbon Week.

Kudos Brownie Troop #8567
The students in Brownie Troop #8567 have been some of Rainbow Days' shining volunteers and donors this year. For Saturday with Santa 2010, the troop made 500+ handmade Christmas cards with candy attachments for the children and families and they also helped greet families and assembled 100 infant stockings. Recently, these thoughtful 4th graders decided to select Rainbow Days to receive 10% of their cookie sales proceeds! Thanks Brownie Troop 8567 and their caring Troop Leader, Jennifer Danna.
