Mattel Children's Foundation & Radica Support Rainbow Days

RadicaRainbow Days is pleased to announce a new partnership with Radica, a division of Mattel, and the Mattel Children's Foundation.  Corporately, Mattel just granted $15,000 to Rainbow Days this spring in general support of our programs.  Locally, Radica has partnered with Rainbow Days in a significant way over spring break to help make homeless children's lives brighter by hosting a special Art with a Heart event at their offices.  Radica employees hosted over 28 children from 2 local shelters for a fun "career day" where the children had the opportunity to meet the staff, take a tour of their offices, eat lunch and actually create their own toy!  Children met with the employees from teh Design, Marketing and Packaging Teams.  The children had a wonderful time and were so grateful for this unique and enlightening experience.  Afterward the children commented that they wanted to go to college so they could work at Radica when they grew up. Thank you employees of Radica for giving so generously of your time, talent and resources and to the Mattel Children's Foundation for their generous financial support and partnership!   We are grateful!

Rainbow Days Benefits from Art Auction
ArtA huge thank you to local artist, Alan Traverse, for selecting Rainbow Days as the beneficiary of his art show during the month of March.  Alan had a special show for his collection "Circles and Silhouettes' paintings at Firehouse Art Gallery in Fort Worth on March 8 and chose Rainbow Days to be the beneficiary of the proceeds of a silent auction for some of his paintings.  The event raised over $400 for Rainbow Days - thank you Alan for your support.  To view Alan's work, please visit www.circlesofindecision.com.
