Rocky Mountain
Sustainable Living Association
Spring Newsletter
2007
Dear ,

Welcome to another issue of our member newsletter!  The Rocky Mountain Sustainable Living Association has been very busy since we last wrote to our members.

What has the RMSLA been up to:

In February of this year we opened an office in downtown Fort Collins, located at 401 South Mason.  We have
Open House Allexpanded efforts in our community and will soon be presenting workshops on a year-round basis.  The new office space provides a central working environment for new staff members to help develop and expand the organizations capacity to provide sustainable education on a more personal and inspiring level.

On April 12th we presented the first annual Environmental Film Festival, featuring local and national short films on some of today's most timely topics of sustainable food, global warming, consumption, alternative energy and more.  The Film Festival is dedicated to the education and awareness of the public about issues that explore the interconnectedness of our natural and human worlds.  We held an electronics recycling collection at the film fest and diverted 4,234 pounds of e-waste from the trash.  Next year's Environmental Film Festival will be in February.

Together we are making a difference!  Your contribution to the Rocky Mountain Sustainable Living Association contributes to our success and we thank you for your continued support.

To the Future,

Kellie Falbo, Executive Director

RMSLAlogoColor
The Rocky Mountain Sustainable Living Association is an organization dedicated to educating people and communities in the Rocky Mountain region to make healthy sustainable choices. We have primarily achieved this mission through the implementation of
the annual
Sustainable Living Fair.

Now, as an established non-profit, the RMSLA is expanding the organization's capacity to provide year-round educational programs, hands-on workshops and on-going community discussion groups.

Our new educational programs and workshops will continue to offer creative challenges that combine a local sense of place with global respect for sustainability.
