Libya agrees VTMS deal
- The Libyan Ports and Maritime Transport Authority (PMTA) has signed a
"multi-million Euro" vessel traffic management system contract with

- The 107m Austal-built catamaran Jean De La Valette, which will shortly
enter service for Maltese operator Virtu Ferries, has been outfitted

- Furuno reports that its INS Training Centre has become the first to
introduce the DNV SeaSkill-certified 'IMO Model Course 1.32 Operational
use and understanding of Integrated Bridge Systems (IBS), including
