- Thrane & Thrane has been awarded a contract by Inmarsat to upgrade and add new functionality to Inmarsat's Broadband Global Area Network (BGAN), the network which forms the backbone of the FleetBroadband service. >>more

PortVision aids in Deepwater Horizon response
- PortVision reports that its vessel-tracking service and PV-OnBoard battery-operated satellite trackers have been successfully applied by BP in managing its response and restoration operations related to the Deepwater Horizon incident. >>more

Polarcus vessels to install positioning systems
- Veripos has been awarded a master services contract by Polarcus, a Dubai-based 3D seismic survey company, for the supply of positioning services and equipment in support of a new fleet of Ulstein-designed vessels. >>more
