Young Athletes Take Center Stage at Gala 
Rob Johnson & Jack Klawitter PhotoThe Inspire Greatness Gala for Special Olympics Illinois celebrated the impact of Special Olympics on athletes' lives and a new initiative that is helping thousands of young children in Illinois.

Master of ceremony Rob Johnson, anchorman for CBS2 Chicago, and event chair, the Honorable Terrence A. Duffy, Executive Chairman, CME Group, talked about the Young Athletes program that is revolutionizing Special Olympics offerings in Illinois.

2010 National Games Athletes Announced
2010 National Games logoSeventy-one athletes and Unified Partners and 17 coaches have been selected to represent Special Olympics Illinois at the 2010 Special Olympics National Games in Lincoln, Neb. The Games will take place July 19-23, 2010, on the campus of the University of Nebraska.
