Welcome Autumn!
Hi Everyone!
Hard to believe that September is already on
it's way out! Cooler weather, leaves
changing, and a
great time to get in some final outdoor
activities before (gasp!) the snow and cold
arrive.
We did our first ever Bachelorette Search
event in August and it was a big success.
These events are for women only and give us a
chance to meet a bunch of fabulous
women. We had great women attend, learned a
lot and will do some more of these in the near
future, look for information on our next one
in an upcoming newsletter.
We are launching a new ad campaign this
month, check out our newest ad in September's
5280 Magazine and let us know what you think.
Our ad is in the Dining Guide.
Our next Women's Informational Meeting is
on Wednesday, October 8th. This event is
always free. Check out our Women's

Updates from the Annual Matchmaker's Conference
For those of you that were around this time
last year, you'll remember the updates from
the annual Matchmaker's Conference in NYC.
So here you go with some more fun information
to share at that next cocktail party!
The Stats:
As usual the conference kicked off with
Online Dating and Social Networking
information guru, Mark Brooks from Online
Personals Watch and Social Networking Watch.
Ever wonder what the top internet dating
site in the U.S. is? Well, it's
Singlesnet.com. Eharmony and Match
don't even make the top 5.
Some more interesting data -
- Match.com's traffic is down 20% over last
year.
- All those "casual" adult dating sites
such as AdultFriendFinder.com run at a ratio
of 30:1 men to women.
- 24% of women would rather give up
sex for 1 month than their cell phones.
- 30% of men will answer their cell
phone during sex.
- Greatest online dating spoof
website - PoorMatch.com
- hysterically funny!
- Check out PoisonPen.com
for cards that communicate your true
feelings!
- WealthyMen.com is the only "millionaire"
website that actually verifies income
levels of it's members.
- Within the next 5 years it's expected
that online dating sites will offer
matchmaking packages through local
matchmakers in your area. So skip over the
online folks and go direct!
Big Debates:
In honor of the upcoming Presidential
Debates we had an official debate of our own.
Each person debating had to pick a side,
whether they agreed with it or not, and argue
their point. We then picked a winner of each
debate. Some of the topics and the winners:
- When to Have Sex: Passion vs. Rules.
Passion won this one, so as Nike says "Just
Do It."
- Older Men for Younger Women: Right or
Wrong. The Wrongs won this one. Sorry guys
but typically she only dates you for the
money or she
has a daddy complex.
- Dating Your Client: Boundary or
Opportunity. This one was tough to call, but
seems the Boundaries won, clients are off
limits for the single matchmakers out there.
The Keynote:
We got a great lesson from Susan Rabin,
Director of the School of Flirting in NYC.
Some tips from Susan:
- Be generous with sincere compliments
- Make him/her feel like he/she is the only
one in the room.
- Your body is speaking - send a positive
message.
- Improve your conversational skills.
- Talking too much is a sure sign you aren't
listening.
- Use those flirting eyes - make eye
contact, but don't stare!
- Smile, Smile, Smile!!

Dance Lessons
Believe it or not, there are many great
options in Denver for taking dance lessons.
Whether it's a Country Western line dance,
Salsa, Tango or Ballroom you can find it most
any night of the week. And what a great
opportunity to get closer to your date!
Laugh, have some fun and don't take it too
seriously! Just watch out for each other's
toes. Let us know if you want some suggested

leaving your pet in their care.
- Sitter should have a backup plan if
he/she is unable to care for your pet in your
absence.
- Sitter should also have a client contract
that states their exact terms of service and
expected payment.
