SNAME2011The Society of Naval Architects and Marine Engineers recognized two members of the Webb Family at its Annual Meeting in Houston, Texas. The Vice Admiral "Jerry" Land Medal was presented to Trustee Stephen M. Payne and the William H. Webb Medal was awarded to Professor Emeritus Jacques B. Hadler.

First Freshman Field Trip

 

Freshman-Class of 2015In October, the Freshman Class had their first opportunity to see a dry-docked vessel as part of our Naval Architecture 1 course. The trip was organized by Dean Neilson, and along with Professor Werner, we packed into our vans and headed to the Brooklyn Navy Yard.
