Chanukah Packages for
Temple Israel's College Students
Sisterhood is preparing Chanukah gift packages to be sent to Temple Israel's college students. If there is a college student in your family, please contact Sisterhood with the student's name and address. The packages will be sent out by November 29th to those who attend college either locally or out of town. Thank you for helping us reach out to the young members of our congregation. Bring your Children and Friends to our next Family Shabbat Service: Pajama Sababa Shabbat Friday, December 10, 2010 - 5:45 PM Pajama Sababa Shabbat (pajamas are the dress for this Shabbat and we encourage the children and possibly their parents as well, to dress accordingly). We will feature bed time rituals, stories, songs and much more. Please join Rabbi Jody Cohen, song leader Michelle Cohn, and ECC Director Valeria Michanie for a Shabbat experience for children in kindergarten and younger (older siblings are always welcome!) 5:45 PM - We'll welcome Shabbat in the Gumenick Chapel, with blessings and prayers and sing and dance to upbeat, fun Shabbat songs. 6:30 PM - Stay for a child-friendly dinner, $5 per child and $5 per adult, followed by a deliciousOneg Shabbat. Christmas Eve at the Homeless Assistance Center Friday, December 24, 2010 Temple Israel will be hosting the Annual Holiday Party on Christmas Eve at the Homeless Assistance Center, 1550 North Miami Avenue.
