Sunday, November 14th, 1:00 PM
Trinity Episcopal Cathedral

In conjunction with the MCCJ Clergy Dialogue, the oldest interfaith clergy dialogue in the United States, Faith-in-the-City and Temple Israel will be partnering in a unique sanctuary and stained glass self-guided tour on Sunday afternoon, November 14th, as part of a community wide interfaith weekend.

Following a 1 PM keynote address by art historian Ann Rose, at Trinity Episcopal Cathedral, 464 Northeast 16th Street (located behind the Omni), about the art of glass and its role in sacred spaces, members of the community will be invited to visit neighboring congregations with interesting stained glass, inspiring architecture and historical significance.  Self-guides will be provided listing participating congregations, with addresses and specific open-house hours beginning at 2 PM.  The program is complimentary and open-to-all.

Both Temple Israel's Bertha Abess Sanctuary and Gumenick Chapel will be significant parts of the site visit and tour.  If you are interested in being an usher or greeter on November 14th, please contact Phyllis Littman at 305-573-5900, ext. 405 or plittman@templeisrael.net.
