Habitat for Humanity Workday at
Liberty City Housing Project
7:30 AM to 3:00 PM
The Dorothy Serotta Social Justice Forum invites you to join volunteers from Miami-Dade congregations at one of the Habitat for Humanity of Greater Miami building sites in Liberty City. We will help build houses for people who have volunteered hundreds of hours of their own labor to have a chance at home ownership.  Be a part of this important work.  Volunteers must be at least 16 years old (those under 18 must be accompanied by a parent).  Register .

Our Religious School, in conjunction with the Urban Paradise Guild, will be involved in doing preparation for the major Maritime Hammock planting, including: spreading mulch, digging holes and nursery projects.  Volunteers will perform real work.  Afterwards, we will enjoy a complimentary Hot Dog B-B-Q, picnicking and kayaking.  RSVP to Valeria Michanie, Religious School Director at
