Dear Temple Israel Parents, Families, and Friends:
I wanted to give you advance notice that Temple Israel is in final negotiations with Bridgepoint Academy, a newly approved charter school which will be housed on our campus. Classes for children in Kindergarten through 5th Grade will begin August 23, 2010.
Some of the benefits of Charter schools include high academic standards, innovative teaching practices, community and parental involvement, access to quality education for all, and accountability for academic results. And, although charter schools are publicly-funded, they are privately-run.
Bridgepoint Academy would like to invite all current and past Temple Israel families to take advantage of this wonderful new opportunity. You are invited to visit www.bridgepointacademy.com to obtain and complete an application of interest which will indicate your desire to attend an informational meeting regarding the school, its offerings, and enrollment criteria.
