Jazz Shabbat!

Friday, March 19, 2010, 7:30 PM
Join our Temple Israel family for a joyful Shabbat celebration, when we will take sacred Hebrew text, Shabbat melodies, some new harmonies and rhythms, add our own type of diversity and change, and present a service in jazz with Zach Auslander (jazz guitarist) and Mike Gold (jazz woodwind player).  Please come enjoy this type of Shabbat, popular at temples across the country, and see for yourself what a rich and satisfying sacred experience it can be.

Cantor Michael Glozman and Dr. Alan Mason lead this program.  A Chocolate Oneg will follow.
