Currently, there are more than 35,000 Jews living in Venezuela, with more than half living in the capital Caracas. Venezuelan Jewry is split equally between Sephardim and Ashkenazim. In honor of National Women's History month in March
Ruth Shack will be our Guest Speaker
during the 7:30 PM service on Friday, March 12. Ms. Shack was the sponsor of the 1977 Human Rights Ordinance in Miami Dade County. A past member of the Metro-Dade County Commission, Ms. Shack has been the President and CEO of one of the largest philanthropic organizations in Florida, Dade Community Foundation.
