Greetings!

Last Wednesday, I had the pleasure of being part of two watershed annual Parker events.
The afternoon found me on the Mission Hills campus sharing ice cream with newly-admitted Lower School students and their parents. There was an air of excitement and anticipation for these new families and their children - all of whom will embark on a journey culminating in their own graduations through 2026.
That evening, I was back on the Linda Vista campus at a dinner for the parents of the Parker Class of 2012. Parents reminisced and reflected, sharing many heartfelt stories about their children's time at Parker, and the significant impact that the School has had and undoubtedly will continue to have on their families.
These two events shine a bright light on what truly matters at Parker - the powerful synergies that result from great students collaborating with exceptional faculty, working within a structure of superior and innovative programs. There are few schools that provide the academic, artistic and athletic opportunities that Parker offers its students.
Without your support, we cannot sustain Parker's outstanding programs. To ensure an exceptional Parker education, not just for the students of today but also those of the future, we have focused our fundraising efforts on building long-term endowment growth.  Endowment is one of the most important components of the long-term stability and success of all renowned independent schools.  To safeguard our educational mission, we need you - and every member of the Parker family - to earmark resources to support endowment with ongoing gifts over the long run. Please join us by making a gift today to secure the future of Parker.
Your gift to Parker's endowment will remain with the school in perpetuity, supporting and strengthening those programs and people who - now and in the future - matter most.  It will:

*    enable Parker to offset the rising cost of an independent school education by providing a dependable source of income for an investment in students, faculty and program

*    support essential academic, arts and sports programs not for a single year but well into the future, on a more predictable basis.

*    position Parker to support deserving students throughout San Diego County with increased financial aid.

*    permit the School to engage, recruit and retain outstanding faculty who will inspire our students.

*    provide funds to underwrite innovative academic programs that enrich the overall educational experience.
Together, we - the members of the Parker community - can and will make an enormous and enduring difference in the life of this school. Please join me in making a gift today - of any amount - to the Parker endowment to honor Parker's mission and vision.
From the bottom of my heart, I thank you for your support of Parker and for your role in securing its future.

Sincerely,
