 Greetings!There are still some tickets remaining for the Count Basie Theatre Gala & Dinner Dance on Saturday, June 5th at 7:30pm but for those of you who can't make it, we wanted to give you the opportunity to share in our Gala in another fun and exciting way! Each year, part of our annual Gala festivities includes a unique online auction where you have the chance to bid on many exclusive items; this year we are particularly excited about offering you some truly fabulous "experience" packages as well! The online portion of Gala 2010 is OPEN. The auction will run from June 1, 2010 to June 4, 2010, with the live event taking place on June 5, 2010. Proceeds go to Count Basie Theatre Foundation in order to support our Theatre. Auction items range from exotic vacation getaways to items guaranteed to delight and surprise. So, tell your friends, family, community. Let the bidding begin!
This year we honor the first leaders of the Count Basie Theatre Foundation. Serving as co-chairmen, Marshall Knopf and Hugh J. Ward, III have been an integral part of the restoration of the Theatre, dedicating their time and talents endlessly. We thank them for all that they have done for the Count Basie Theatre and our community.
