**What 's your Program of the Month called?

So how many improvement programs have you been relying upon to move your organization forward?
Did they make things better?
Did they make your organization more effective?
Did your profitability increase?
Did they significantly improve the ability to make better business decisions?
Did your organization get better results?
Did they help your people to all be rowing in the same direction?
Now it is well into the fourth quarter. Have any of the programs of the month really worked to make your organization more effective and to achieve the results for which you, as a Leader, were hoping? If so, how will you build on those? If not, what will you do next?
It is true that words and phrases (and programs of the month) do fall out of favor. Sometimes we just get weary; we latch on to a different rising star that's intended to bring improvement. To us, its all words---whether we call it management of change, organizational change or OD, organizational effectiveness, high performance workplaces, restructuring efforts, reinvigoration, reinventing ourselves, metamorphosis, sustainability, agility-focus, or transformation. (We like the word transformation, because ultimately we are transforming ourselves and our organizations; yet even transformation as a word, is overused).
Regardless of what we choose to call it, making things happen and making critical changes in our organizations still needs vision, rigor and commitment. It takes principled Leaders who have the courage and understanding that change is constant. Successful Leaders have to know, possess, apply and live authentic, laser-sharp leadership skills all the time. (We teach Leaders how to lead effectively with extraordinary results!)
The need to change, to move faster, to make things better, to make better business decisions, to recover quickly, to have the organization rejuvenated and the people in the organization clear on principles, learning together, moving forward together and effectively, remains the key.
We have the key. We know the importance of the authentic conversation. We know what it takes to build consensus. We embrace accountability. We have the ability to help leaders effectively lead their respective organizations. We help the various factions of organizations come together and work together effectively. The results are extraordinary! Our transformation process has been proven again and again and again. NO MATTER WHAT YOU CALL IT!
