Membership Drive Continues...  

Come by for equal parts of art, wine & cheese throughout the afternoon and early evening.  Meet some of our artist neighbors. Saturday's Open House is one of several studio shows held throughout the year...and WIFT Houston participates in this one, our 2nd Annual.   

Next month, WIFT has a 16th Anniversary approaching. Where will WIFT Houston be in the next 5, 10, or 15 years?  It's up to each of its members and the elected board members. Ultimately it's up to YOU.  There will be another board election in early 2012. If you are not already doing so, consider devoting some time to your organization.  Remember, we are all volunteers.    

WANTED:  Committee Leaders--The WIFT office is perfect for committee meetings, but needs committee leadership and interested members.  We could be developing these committees, for example:  Membership, Special Events, Sponsorships, Directory and Ad Sales, College Campus Liaisons, and others - maybe even a WIFT Writers' Meet-up, WIFT Actors' Meet-up, a WIFT Line-Producers' Meet-up, or wherever your suggestions lead us, provided that you would be willing to support at least one of these with your time and talents. You can see, the needs and the opportunities are many.  Drop by. Leave your suggestions for the future of WIFT.  As a member you have the opportunity to build many new and lasting relationships, but not without some effort on your part.         

The WIFT Houston office is "inside the loop," though just barely.  It's our home, and it's perfect for workshops, table readings, and casting sessions. Come see for yourself.  Reasonable rental rates. A/C and Heating 24/7.     

And, if you're membership has expired, now's your chance to get active.
