Township Bicentennial
Everyone is invited to celebrate Madison Township's Bicentennial on Sunday, May 23 at their open house. Stop by anytime from 1 pm - 5 pm for tours of all the buildings in the complext on Madison Lane (across from Groveport Madison High School on S. Hamilton Road).
Refreshments will be avilable at each building along with photos from the past. Bring the kids and check out some of the equipment at each building while you're there.

Golf Outing - June 11

Businesses wishing to sponsor a hole or donate raffle items or items for the team bags should contact the office before the end of the May.

| Women In Business Meets Monthly
The Chamber Women In Business group offers 2 monthly
meetings allow networking specific to Women In Business.
The group meets for lunch (12 noon - 1 pm) the 1st Weds of each month. On the 2nd Monday of the month we meet for dinner (5:00 - 6:30). Location vary each time, check the chamber web site for specific locations.
Join us on Weds. May 5th at the conference room of Hometown Urgent Care, 3813 S. Hamilton Rd., Groveport 43125. (Next to Giant Eagle). The meal will be catered by Little Italy, cost will be $7.00 per person. Please RSVP by noon Tuesday, May 4th to the Chamber office. Bring your businesses cards!

| Dr. Mike...Sanity Break
Our April luncheon at Berwick Manor Restaurant received posivite comments following Dr. Mike Thomson and his "Strategies for Saving Your Sanity" talk.
 Thanks to our various sponsors, 100 attendees,including 60 support staff, received a delicious buffet meal, door prizes,
a bag full of gifts and a light-hearted presentation from Dr. Mike.

Dr. Michael Thomson is an international speaker and author of several books. He brings a unique perspective (with lots of humor) on good character, ethics and problem solving. His work with parents, students, coaches and the business world has earned him accolades from a diverse group of people.
The Chamber office is planning a fall workshop with Dr. Mike. We will be offering a morning and afternoon, a 3 hour workshop for those businesses that would like to send staff members. More details this summer.

Congratulations Yard Solutions
Congratulations to Yard Solutions' Ray Coleman for earning his Ohio Certified Nursery Technician program's "Landscape" certification for green industry professionals. Ray is the Commerical Maintenance Account Manager at
Yard Solutions in Groveport.
Ray has been with Yard Solutions since 2006 and has 13 years landscape maintance and installation experience. He is responsible for commercial maintenance client account management and crew performance.
 Tony Iacamp serves as the Landscape Divison Manager and manages all of Yard Solutions' design/build landscape installation, commercial landscape maintenance and residential enhancement services. Tony brings 22 years of experience to Yard Solutions - welcome Tony!
