 1. Shoreblock Articulating Concrete Block System (ACB) Utlized for 49,500 Sq. Ft. Spillway!
ACB Provides Performance and Cost Effectiveness in Meeting New Dam Safety Regulations.

Easton Cover Image When new dam capacity regulations regarding high hazard dam compliance mandated the replacement of an existing auxiliary spillway, the new spillway was lined with Articulating Concrete Blocks (ACBs).

he Shoreblock® SD 600 OCT system was selected based on economics and the support ACF Environmental provides for engineered applications. ACF provided the design support and obtained the required approvals from the NRCS.

 2. Erosion Eel Weighted Sediment Tube's Reusability Provides Unique Versatility
Field and Laboratory Proven to Deliver Sediment Capture Results

Erosion_Eel_cover The Erosion Eel is a highly effective sediment-control product used at construction sites to prevent suspended soils from contaminating area streams and wetlands during storm events. It is a sediment tube filled with an effective filter/ballast material consisting of 100% shredded, recycled tire rubber.

The Eel's high strength geotextile skin and heavy duty handles allows for easy installation, removal and reuse as an alternative to silt fence, rock check dams, wattles, hay bales, gravel bags and compost socks. The Erosion Eel highlights:
  • Reusable
  • Made from Recycled and Recyclable Materials
  • Requires No Trenching or Soil Disturbance During Installation
  • Provide Unparalleled Versatility in Field Applications
