 1. Geoweb Earth Retention System Utilized for "Green Wall" applications at University of Pittsburgh.
Eco-Friendly & Naturally Attractive Vegetated Retaining Walls

Falk_GW_ER_Pitt GeowebŪ Earth Retention System allows for the design of retaining walls with natural aesthetics and that perform in less-than-ideal site conditions. Construct more economical, easier, and structurally-stable retaining walls. Choose a low-impact development solution that reduces stormwater runoff and contributes to green building credits.
The GeowebŪ system creates economical and structurally-sound retaining walls that meet all design requirements and desired aesthetics through a terraced vegetated face.

 3. How does that look today? 2nd of a series of ACF updates on Mature Geosynthetic Applications!
High Performance TRM Provides Soft, Safe & Reinforced Roadside.

Linden_Hill_image As the geosynthetic industry continues to mature, ACF is often asked about the long term performance of previous geosynthetic applications. Pyramat High Performance Turf Reinforcement Mat (HPTRM) is a three dimension woven geotextile designed specifically for demanding erosion prevention applications where both long term performance and survivability are critical.

When a 1999 road reconstruction project incorporated bike and pedestrian lanes alongside the vehicle lanes a soft and safe roadside finish was desired instead of the traditional riprap channel. This case study provides a review of the installation and long term performance of the PYRAMAT HPTRM reinforced vegetation swale.
