VMD 2009 BritBike.comGreetings BritBike enthusiast!

VMD-OHIO 2009 was a blast!
The campsite, vendors area and race pit was crowded again and we saw some great bikes at the races. It was specially awesome to see so many outstanding BSA's during this BSA marque year and very nice to see so many BritBike.com members again.

In the BSA Marque of the Year Tent we met the old stars #71 Bobby Hill, #29 Tommy McDermott, 2009 VMD Grand Marshal Don Emde. At the Dirt Track races #15x Dave Atherton who blow us away winning class 50+ again. He even took Dick Mann #64 out for a run what a treath.

At the Vendors area we met many BritBike.com sponsors like British Only, Walridge, Baxters Cycles, Lowbrow Customs,

Rich B and Ron made a faboulus cookout on Saturday and plenty ob BB.comers showed up including John Healy and Don Hutchinson which both held seminares about "Triumph Technicalities".

Would like to say thanks to everyone who made my stay a fantastic experience!

TREASURE TROVE OF CLASSIC BIKES DISCOVERED IN WESTERN NEW YORK STATE

About 180 Antique and Classic Motorcycles + an Extraordinary Amount of Good British Motorcycle Parts (approx 3 40' trailers load) TRIUMPHS, BSA'S, NORTONS, HARLEY-DAVIDSONS, INDIANS AND MORE!

Auctioneers Note:
Anybody who knows motorcycles can see that Jack Dash loved to ride. He collected some of the coolest bikes to build and restore that you could ask for. You can see by the collection that he planned on building special motorcycles for the rest of his life. Life isn't always fair and Cancer took Jack before he got very deep into his projects. The family has contracted J. Wood and Company to auction this collection of motorcycles and rare parts to the folks who will appreciate what he put away for the future.
This collection has lots of good bikes in all conditions from ready to ride to basket cases. I have not seen everything yet as there are multiple buildings just chock full. We will be updating our web site with photos as we get the stuff dug out. There is one big truck garage packed full of plastic storage tubs full of good British bike parts. I think that those parts would fill most of a 40 foot trailer. I found many new and used Cafe' parts as well.
The bikes include about 12 Norton Commandos, some Atlas' and G15's, and about 15 feather beds with all sorts of motors. There are lots of Triumphs and Triumph parts, many from 1965 to 1970, as well as, BSA, Royal Enfield and Ariel. For European enthusiasts, we have BMW's, 2 Ducati 750 round case GT's, some Laverdas, Bennelli Tornados, Moto Guzzi's, including a V7 sport, about 6 Yamaha 650 twins and others.
There are about 5 - '65 to '69 - Harley XLCH, a street legal XR 750 and a restored '50 Pan Head and a lot more. There are three brand new S&S motors, transmissions and custom frames. We have Indians, one 1952 Blackhawk Chief with a '48 frame, another '51 Chief basket case, a '38 Chief in the process of being restored and a '39 Sports Scout rolling basket.
You can look on the web site for the list as we build it and add photos. Please don't miss this one, you need to be there because we want you to look at what you are bidding on and carry it off. We will be moving the entire estate to the Western NY Event Center where we will have parking, great food and the room to spread this huge collection out.
