 Hand Sweeping and Cleaning
Beginning Monday, March 24 through the end of 2008, to enhance our public ways and fulfill our mission of clean streets, Cleanslate interns will be sweeping and removing litter within the SSA seven days a week.
Snow
Our annual contract for snow removal ended on March 15. If there is a significant snow storm this weekend, the Commissioners have authorized a one time removal, dependant on prevailing temperatures and the weather forecast.
Earth Hour - An International Statement on Climate Change
 March 29th from 8:00 pm - 9:00 pm
Loyola University Chicago will join millions across the globe and take simple actions to address climate change. Already committed to conserving energy, Loyola will seek out areas to improve energy conservation on the campuses by powering down areas that will not impact safety such as fans and lighting. Loyola invites eveyone to join in Earth Hour and take a stand on climate change.
