Greetings!
If you've made it into the cafe recently, you might have met Dandelion's newest tribe member - Maya Juniper Rose has been accompanying mom to work and loves to hang out in the sling and stare at the fabric colored ceiling just like all the other babies! She'll be joining us at VegFest this weekend, so we hope to see you there! Great coupon for a free beer at the cafe after vegfest is at the bottom of this newsletter. Pardon Our....Plaster!
As you know, American Clay has selected Dandelion to be a model home for their environmentally friendly natural earth plaster. This week Jeff Barrett is installing the eco-friendly product to the
interior of Dandelion during our slow periods. Come check out the progress this week - the walls are all in various stages at this writing - several have the white clay base coat with color top coats for several of the rooms expected by the end of the week. [More Info]Thanks to all our volunteers who turned out to help us prime the walls! We are forever grateful to see the community show their support in this way. Geoff, Justin, Daren, Maria, Irene, Alex, Jeremy, Jeff, Nanette, Moriah, Matt, Juan and Jill - ya'll rock! p.s. Receive a $5 Dandelion Gift Certificate when you purchase at least $25 in
"Eco-Love" products at Blissful Lotus. Don't miss this event - stop in before or after Vegfest this Saturday for
ECO-LOVE DAY! (pssst, Julie's sensual art is on display too, so buy
some art!)

"Go Flexitarian" Series, Part 2
This is the third installment in our "Go Flexitarian" Series.
Julie's Flexitarian Journey 1st Step:
Switch to Organic Animal Byproducts
After doing taste tests on eggs, milk and cheese, the flavor
convinced me to make an immediate switch. I could TASTE the difference
and the "conventional" products were unpalatable from this point on. I
also discovered how the antibiotics and hormones used in non-organic
production were so harmful to my health. Discover More Info: Cows and Chickens

Growing with Community Support!
Several smart investors have taken advantage of this opportunity to invest locally, earning them a nice return on their purchase.
Investor Profile: Brian & Maggie O'Halloran
Brian is a Visualization Specialist & Maggie is involved with The Prayer Company, we are tickled to be a part of their love connection: "I believe that most couples have a warm fondness for places where
they have first dated. They are always places that are easy to
remember. For us, one of those places is the Dandelion Cafe. But our
love of the Dandelion Cafe goes much further than just a sentimental
reason. Not only does the Dandelion have healthy food, everything on the menu tastes really good... and for a reasonable price. The Dandelion does not seem to be focused on "making-a-buck". The
owner(s) and employees seem to really enjoy educating people on local
resources for eating healthier and becoming a happier person. The Dandelion is a community that we want to bless and see flourish. The Dandelion is so much more than food."
Brian & Maggie come to all of our potlucks & invested at $250 (before we even had it ready online - they just couldn't wait!)
