Greetings!
It's Election Time. So get out your voting mouse and start clicking! That's right, it's the annual "Best Of" voting season and the indy places in town are counting on you to cast your ballot. Who's The Best? Let Em Know:
Orlando Weekly Best Of & AOL City Guide
If you've been following Dandelion for awhile, you have seen us switch recently from counter service to table service. We've also expanded our tribe with several awesome new folks over the past several months. Unfortunately (for all us anyway), our darling Carly left us for Barcelona recently. She send her love from across the pond.
Don't fret, tho, two things we know you are going to be happy about:
1) Take out just got easier! That's right, now you can call your order in & you'll be able to pick up your lunch much faster (no line to wait in!).
2) New Menu Items on the Way! You've already seen some specials like mango salsa, portobella sandwiches and a renewed energy with our entire soup line. We are testing new items to see what we should add to the menu so we can offer more variety. Our new culinary team is passionate about food & we can't wait for your feedback.
Keep reading for some information about our Local First movement. Tune into Front Porch Radio on WPRK 91.5 fm this Wednesday at Noon to hear me talk about Ourlando.com and how you can participate in co-creating an active & engaged community.
Til then, toodles!

Jump Start a "Local First" Campaign in OurLando!
At Dandelion, we are passionate about community & are dedicated to helping this city & it's citizens live, work & play in a progressive town. We would like to send a delegation from OurLando to represent our blossoming community at the BALLE "Grow Deep" Conference & are looking to the community to help raise money for airfare & lodging.
Read more about the movement & the co-creators on our new website.
Please consider making a donation to our travel fund so we can learn what it takes to start & maintain a vibrant "Local First" campaign in OurLando in support of independent business, arts, culture & active citizens.
We need to raise $5,000 for airfare, conference fees, meals, hotel and materials needed to jump-start a program in OurLando. Won't you pitch in? Consider donating $25, $50 or $100. Click on the Donate Button Now!
Aeon Blu has generously donated all the airfare & we've raised $400 from community minded citizens Ross Payne, Janet Courtney & Janice Voss. Won't you join them in jump-starting this movement? Please visit our brand new website and donate today!
Sponsorship opportunities are available to businesses willing to donate $1,000 or more.
