Thanks to so many of you that turned out at Avalon and Whole Foods recently to support the Communitea Herb Garden that our friends at the Florida School of Herbal Studies will be installing over the next several months. Combined donations to the garden from these two events raised over $3,000 for much needed supplies! The power of COMMUNITY!

Serenity in the city is just around the corner!
 Many of you remember our beautiful friend Amber who helped us open Dandelion last year. I am proud to announce that she is now the proud momma of her own business, a beautiful yoga studio located just up the block from our cafe. Shine On Yoga offers yoga (of course!), meditation, workshops, music, massage, environmental and humanitarian awareness events, and community gatherings. I've personally done yoga with Amber on many occasions and have always been guided into peacefulness by her gentle voice and found myself much more energized, centered and confident after practicing yoga with her. Please support this new business and let your friends in the 'hood know about this shining new star in the community.
