Greetings!

So many synergistic things are going on these days, it's hard to keep up with all the good news. We are meeting so many new folks after our best review to date in the Orlando Weekly, and also gracing the cover of the enlightening local new age publication, The Messenger.

Just in time to introduce all of our new guests to the fantastic Communitea Herb Garden that our friends at the Florida School of Herbal Studies will be installing over the next several months. (See below for more information).

I am especially proud to report that Heart of Coal, the Fringe play I mentioned in our last newsletter, is one of the best, most unique pieces of theatre I have seen in a long time - if you haven't seen it yet, there are still several performance left. You don't want to miss this cutting-edge multi-media affair with a timely and important message.

After you vote for us (best vegetarian, teahouse & "whatever"), come get down with The Token Gamblers this Friday at 9pm.
Communitea Garden, Coming Soon!
Our vision of 'green'ing downtown is coming alive! The Florida School of Herbal Studies, in partnership with Dandelion Communitea Cafe, Shalamar's Garden, and Orenda Herbal, will enter their initial installation phase of a Communitea Herb Garden this summer - a special green space where we can each get our hands dirty, play with plants, and learn more about ourselves and the natural world that sustains us.

Click here for more info & ways to get involved!
AND Mark your calendars to go grocery shopping at Whole Foods in Winter Park today. 5% of all sales made this day will be donated to help fund our Communitea Garden. Much love to ya!
NOW PLAYING: "Heart of Coal" at Fringe
From the inner circle at Dandelion comes a very special theatre project that is meant to educate people about mountaintop removal coal mining, one of the worst human rights tragedies occurring in America today.

Heart of Coal is the name of an original multi-media environmental fable told with both live actors & puppets. It's about a girl whose destiny is intertwined with a mountain that is about to be destroyed.

This show will be premiere at the 16th Annual Orlando International Fringe Festival, which runs from May 17- 28th. We guarantee you'll love the show. See the schedule here & purchase tickets here.
The talented movers & shakers for this project:
Jeremy Seghers - Producer, Writer & Director (and great customer!)
Sandra Diaz, Writer (& Creator of Dandelion's Delicious Menu)
Heather Henson - Set & Puppets (& great customer!)
Jon Jones & Anna Kerlin - Video Projections (& Julie's best guy friend!)
Justin Tighe - Music (& Dandelion's Assistant Manager!)
Sustainably yours,
