Hey Friend
I can't believe it's been nine months since we opened
our doors! Whew, what fun we've had meeting,
feeding and celebrating with all of you. With
Thanksgiving celebrations all
across the country this
week comes our love/hate relationship with the
entire spirit of the holidays vs the pressure to shop
til you drop. Next week I'll be sending out a
list of sustainabe gifts that you can put on your list
this year, including ways to avoid the consumerism
route all-together. (Shameless plug for those of
you that will be purchasing: Dandelion Gift
Certificates show that you support what's
independent, local, organic & fair trade!)
In the meanwhile, reserve your seat for Thanksgiving
dinner - we've gotten a lot reservations but I know
some of you procrastinators out there are waiting til
the last minute, which, incidentally, is right now!

will be hosting this event every Saturday in
December to give local artisans & crafters
an opportunity to share their homemade jewelry,
clothing, preserves, beauty products, paintings and
whatever else our local community can come up
with!
We will be promoting this market heavily to local
publications, flyering & word of mouth to encourage
those in our community to avoid the BIG
BOX this holiday season & get some of the most
unique and rad sustainably-oriented
gifts in OurLando, locally made!
