Hey Friend
Is it just me, or does it seem lighter out? Lighter in the it's feeling breezy-easy kinda way. How we savor the delicious coolness of a slight drop in temperature down in Central Florida! Down at Dandelion, we are realizing that business is picking up not just because the locals are enjoying the hints of cooler weather, but because Canadians are escaping the freezing cold & making their way to our doorstep via Happycow. The more the merrier, eh?

Another good reason to get out this weekend are some of the fun events we have planned, including an Herb Fest & outdoor film on Saturday and a benefit concert on Sunday. Not to mention the Shockley Supper's we've got planned for Fri & Sat Night. (See below for more info)

Sustainably yours,
Julie & the Dandelion Tribe

It's easy being green...

Last week, Chris & I attended a natural products conference with aisle's of organic, vegan, sustainable products. We sipped Mate out of David's personal gourd, tried on awesome shoes, bought a rad hemp hat, ate the best raw brownie EVER, listened to this righteous lady talk about Grub and chatted it up with the folks behind Organic Racing.

While there, we supported this independent B&B and sipped homemade chai with Nam & Carmen - our vegetarian hosts. Then, we feasted at Great Sage, an organic veggie restaurant serving absolutely delicious seasonal food. Ahhhhh, such is the life of the eco-entrepreneur. In all seriousness, we discovered some really great products that we will be introducing to you over the next couple of months...some which we think are too good to be true. Keep a watchful eye on our website for these new offerings.

We're still keeping the entrees a secret, so you'll just have to stop in and see. Supper starts at 7pm & only lasts until the supply is gone. We're starting with a limited number of portions while we test it out, so get here early!
