(PARENTS PLEASE READ LAST ARTICLE)
Thanks to all that have supported us over the Winter Season and Thank You to the staff and ownership of Marbar.

Due to Mother's day & rapidly moving developments with our Los Angeles Party we will cancel the last remaining Sundae in West Philly.  Also it's Penn's Graduation and driving and parking will be a nightmare.

Now for details on the MOVE.

Due to the large numbers expected for this opening event and the Holiday weekend, we are giving our regulars first dibs on tickets for the first Summer Sundae Party.  With all the press and promo, we are planning on large numbers cued up, trying to get in.

First, PLEASE GET HERE EARLY.   With this being a new venue,  We do not know what a comfortable number is for dancing.  We will not oversell this event.  That said, if you arrive late and we are at capacity - you will have to wait until the crowd lightens.

How the ticket works.  Even if you are on our email blast - you will need to RSVP on the Sundaephiladelphia.com site.  The ticket will get you front of line access and if there is room - entrance.  This does not waive the cover charge.  It is $5.00 before 8 PM & $10 after.  Parents - Kids under 15 always get in free and do not need a ticket.

Once you have a ticket - print it and bring it to the venue along with a valid photo ID.  We have an entire new door staff - so you can't get in on your good looks.  There is no guest list for this event, so you will still need to get a ticket to get quicker access to the dance floor.

Each person needs a ticket in their own name to get front of line access.  No plus ones. There is only one entrance onto the pier - so we will make every effort to get you in quickly.  Just remember to have your ID's and tickets in hand.

For those of you that have purchased NYE Tickets before - you are familiar with the Eventbrite ticket system and your current log ins should still be valid. For those that are not - it is pretty simple and will take about 2 minutes.  Your confirmation will be emailed to you and this is what you will bring on the day of the event.

There are only a limited number of tickets being offered for RSVP.  Get them now and tell your friends to do the same.  Once they are gone - it will be general admission only.

PLEASE ARRIVE EARLY.

This Tuesday the weather is finally on our side.  No Rain, No Sleet, No Snow.  So make it over to Woodies and come dance to the beats that Dirty & I throw down to you.  Its free and drinks are Strong and cheap.

PARENTS READ

I was watching Day Time television the other day and Former President Clinton was on discussing Childhood Obesity.  Here is an alarming fact

"Childhood obesity is one of our nation's leading health threats. Today, nearly 1 in 3 youth, age 2 to 19, are already obese or overweight. The obesity epidemic is clearly taking its toll, as more and more kids are developing conditions and diseases typically associated with adults. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), 1 in 3 individuals born in the year 2000 will develop type 2 diabetes. In vulnerable populations that number increases to 1 in 2 individuals. If obesity among kids continues to increase, many believe this current generation of young people will become the first in American history to live shorter lives than their parents."

This summer, Sundae is teaming up with a few members of our community to bring light onto this subject.  As the Summer rolls in, we will be offering advice on health eating for you and your kids, Healthy living for your family as well.  To me the most important thing my parents ever did was make me turn off the television and go outside and play.  I would play for hours especially in the summer.

Remember that Kids always get in free to dance and play at Sundae - It is a great way to spend time with them while not breaking the bank.  And even if you can't make it to a Sundae party - create one where you live, invite your neighbors & relatives to your back yard and download a mix.  You can have a mini Sundae anywhere  - just make sure the TV is off.
