Territory Codes Now Automatically Populate We have eliminated an extra step when quoting and binding by removing the need to enter a territory code, in most cases. Currently, when submitting a quote in InsForce, an agent enters a garaging zip code and selects a territory. Effective Thursday, January 6, when agents enter the zip code, our system will automatically populate the territory field.
The only time that it will be necessary to enter territory information is if there are two counties within one zip code. When this is the case, you will be asked to select a county and then, the system will automatically fill in the territory information for you.
Not only will this ensure accurate policy information but it will save our agents time. We know our agents are busy, and every second counts!
Java Updates Available
Many agencies were experiencing issues when trying to do a VIN check on our website during October and November as a result of a Java update. Some agencies were required to use the previous version of Java in order to restore functionality and our IT Department requested that agencies not update Java until the problem had been resolved.
We are pleased to report that this issue has been fully resolved. InsForce now functions with the newest version of Java. We apologize for any inconvenience that this may have caused and thank you for your patience as we worked to provide you with a solution.
