FAITH IN

What is the Faith In project? Live your faith. Love your community.

The Faith In Project is simply a way for all of us in the United Church of Christ - and beyond to our neighbors outside of our church doors - to connect with one another by lifting up our shared mission and faith. The UCC has created a booklet with 25 total ideas to get started with the project, as well as 10 reasons to join.

faith in t-shirt
Faith In T-shirts are now available at the conference office for $10 each. All your church needs to do is write in your community name with permanent marker and start showing your faith in your part of Penn Central Conference!

CHRISTIAN EDUCATION SUNDAY - Sept 9

Fall is quickly approaching! If you haven't yet thought about resources and curriculum for your faith formation or Christian education programs for 2012-2013, now's the time to do it. This year, Christian Education Sunday-or Rally Day-the day that congregations usually designate as a "kick off" to another program year (it's also football season too!)-will be Sunday, September 9. If you're looking for worship resources to celebrate this event, a few classic examples can be found at www.ucc.org/education under "Celebrating Christian Education Sunday."

Last year, this day was also shared with the 10th anniversary of September 11; and a link to those resources is still available on the website as well.
