 2011 CONTRIBUTIONS
 

All donations from churches must be received in the conference office by Tuesday, January 17 to be credited to 2011. Anything received after that date will be credited to 2012.

 


 WHY SHOULD WE INVEST WITH UNITED CHURCH FUNDS?
 December 5, 7pm, Hummelstown UCC

Nelson Murphy of United Church Funds (UCF) will be speaking at Hummelstown UCC on Monday, December 5 at 7pm on why churches should consider investing with UCF instead of a commercial investment manager. Churches are welcome to attend.

 


 DAY WORK TRIPS TO BLOOMSBURG
 Upcoming Events

Jim Fowler, PCC Disaster Response Coordinator is putting together "day" work trips to Bloomsburg, PA. Parts of Bloomsburg were devastated during Tropical Storm Lee.
He will lead trips on Mondays, Tuesday, Fridays or Saturdays.
If you never have had the time to be able to travel on a week long disaster response trip to New Orleans but want to help, this is for you.

Peter Steinke Our 2012 Mid-Winter Clergy Convocation at Hotel Hershey, will feature guest speaker Dr. Peter Steinke. Early deadline to register is by December 16.

 BOUNDARY AWARENESS TWO -CREDIT COURSES
 

The following Association Ministeriums are offering programs that qualify for the 2-credit elective course that compliments the 4-credit Advanced Course (for a total of the required 6 credits). If you are seeking to complete a 2-credit course, consider attending one of these programs, even if it is being sponsored by another Association. If you are not sure what you need to complete your Boundary Awareness requirement, check the overall requirements on the Penn Central Conference website (www.pccucc.org) and/or contact your Committee on Ministry/Church and Ministry Committee.
