 CONFERENCE FALL YOUTH EVENT
 November 18-20

Our theme for all of our youth events this year is "Imagine" which corresponds with the National Youth Event theme being held next July 10-13 at Purdue University. This retreat's specific theme is "Imagine a Better World". We will be learning about how poverty affects our world, including taking part in poverty simulations and workshops concerning how poverty is directly related to other world issues such as war and violence and bullying and intolerance. Prepare to be challenged, to grow spiritually and intellectually, to experience some new things, to meet new people, and to have a great time!

The retreat begins with registration on Friday from 7pm-8pm. There will be pizza offered at that time especially for those who might not have time to stop for dinner. Please bring snacks to share and leaders please coordinate with your youth so that some bring food and some bring drink. There will be a dance on Saturday night so bring your dancing shoes along!

Our outreach/mission project this year will be for everyone to bring 2-3 cans of food or non-perishable food items along. We are trying to continue the Mission1 focus of feeding those around us, so we are going to see how much food we can collect for the local food pantry. See if we can fill an entire van!!!
