 MISSION 1: 1-1-11 - 1-11-11 RESOURCES AND GUIDES AVAILABLE

Mission 1 logo Do you want to help your congregation organize its response to the Mission 1 challenge? Penn Central Conference would like to encourage our churches to be part of MISSION 1: ONE UNITED CHURCH on a shared mission for 11 powerful days to feed the hungry and confront food-related injustice. Is your congregation organized for this denominational effort? Appoint a person, task force, outreach/mission committee to begin planning now.

Would your church be interested in planning a mission project in your community for Saturday, November 5 so that all of our churches are in the community that day working together? We could order Mission 1 T-shirts highlighting the UCC available for a low price for your church to wear. This is a perfect opportunity for the UCC to get some great media coverage. E-mail bwaleff@pccucc.org or cburch@pccucc.org.

Let us know what you are planning! We want to highlight some of the creative ways churches are responding to hunger and homelessness in our communities. Post what your church is planning to do on the conference facebook page.
