Two highlights of our new website: 1) Go to our prayer center and post a prayer request and pray for others in our conference. 2)Check out PCCBay at the bottom of our home page. Post items your church is looking for or wanting to give away or sell. Post job listings for positions in your church other than pastors.

 Annual Meeting 2011
 June 10-12, Susquehanna University

My Conference logo Join us for conference annual meeting. It's not too late to register. Final deadline is May 23. NPR's Michele Norris will be joining us Saturday. We have middle school youth and high school youth activities.Check out the agenda and proposed resolution from the Disaster Readiness/Response team. Check back for workshop listings and much more information in the upcoming weeks. It's a great time of fellowship and friendship.

 Dakota Association School KIts
 Bring them to Annual Meeting

The Dakota Association Partnership will once again be collecting school kits at Annual Meeting in Selinsgrove. These school kits are taken to the churches of the Dakota Association as well as to The Main in Eagle Butte. If you would like to provide school kits, we use the same school kits as those of Church World Service. Please bring them to the Partnership display the weekend of Annual Meeting.

 3rd Annual Commonwealth Interfaith Service
 Monday, May 2

More than 30 sponsoring organizations including Penn Central Conference invite you to the Commonwealth Interfaith Service: Prayers for Justice and Peace, May 2, to celebrate the rich diversity of faith traditions in Pennsylvania. The service will take place at 5:30pm at Pine Street Presbyterian Church, 310 N. 3rd Street, Harrisburg. Please join your friends and neighbors to celebrate the rich diversity of faith traditions and prayer in Pennsylvania and raise a collective voice for a more just and peaceful world. A reception will follow.

 New Church Planter Discernment
 Deadline Approaching

Sponsored by Penn Central Conference, this is a two-day workshop on Monday, May 23 and Tuesday, May 24 at Lancaster Seminary. Is new church planting for you or do you know someone who might be good at this? This is a discernment retreat so we can assist those who may be discerning a call into the ministry of new church starts. Open to clergy or lay people. The discernment process conducted during the two day seminar will help even those who are not sure of where they are feeling called. Early bird registration ends April 30.
