Business Planning is key if you want to create a good foundation for your new business or want to bring your present business to a new level. We are so lucky to have Carrie Johnson, former director at Center for Women and Enterprise, entrepreneur and author, teaching a Business Planning Series.
We welcome Katia Stiefel as a new Prosperity Circle Leader and say goodbye to Prosperity Circle Leader, Julia Dollinger, as she sets off to fulfill her dreams in Florida. We are very grateful for her leadership and friendship. Thank goodness for Skype!!

Change, Courage, Creation: How to Create a World of Your Dreams | |
Nancy Cantor |
It takes courage and creativity to take on your life, your work, and your world.
- Where does it all start?
- Many times it starts with change.
The economy is changing, we are getting older and going through many life transitions, and things sometimes just happen to us that we just didn't expect. People are empowered when they bring courage and creativity to these natural transitions and these unexpected changes.
As Chief Dream Officers-in-Training, we have a model to draw upon when changes occur. We are visionaries, organizers, self-transformers, and community leaders. These qualities allow us to create lives, work and a world of our dreams.
- What new things are happening to you?
- What new things do you want to have happen?
Come to the next Dream Factory Luncheon with a situation you would like to impact. Learn from Dream Factory founder, Nancy Cantor, how you can bring more courage and creativity to the changes in your life. Business Planning 3-hour workshop
Thinking about starting a business? Want to grow your business? Need funding to start or grow your business? You need a business plan to increase your chances for success. And it doesn't have to be 50 pages. Quality not quantity is what matters. In this workshop we will explore what needs to be included in your business plan and what you need to know before writing it.
Business Planning Course If you've decided to start a small business or want to take your current business to the next level, you need a plan to be successful. Need funding to start or grow your business? You need a plan. Whether you call it a business plan, feasibility plan or action plan, without it who knows where you'll end up? This course will guide you through completing a business plan. Topics will include: Industry and Market Analysis, Competitive Analysis, Marketing and Promotional Strategy, Management Plan and Finances. "The process of writing a business plan is probably more important than the end product. The learning and decision-making that occurs as part of the journey is invaluable." Edward Paulson (Author of The Complete Idiot's Guide to Starting Your Own Business)
Carrie Johnson is an accomplished entrepreneur three times over. As a single mother living on government aid, she bootstrapped a three-person cleaning service and grew it into a multimillion dollar company that supported 165 employees. Carrie now educates and empowers other small business owners, counseling them on development, planning, PR and marketing. With a background in journalism, Carrie recently published her first book, From the Pits to the Palace: One Woman's Journey to Self-Realization through Entrepreneurship. It is a story of courage and perseverance that serves as a reminder to us all that anything is possible.
